UPMSP Up Board Exam Pattern 2025: Under Uttar Pradesh State Board of High School and Intermediate Education, class 10th and 12th board exams are conducted like other state boards. Both Hindi medium and English medium students study in UP Board. For the convenience of the students, the exam pattern explained here is useful for both types of students.
Because the only difference between Hindi medium and English medium is language. Apart from this, syllabus, exam pattern, question paper, everything is same. Practical exams are also conducted before the class 10th and 12th board exams. Generally, project work is given to the students of class 10th and viva is also taken along with the project work for the students of class 12th.
Therefore, it becomes necessary to understand the marks prescribed for the written examination as well as the practical examination in the exam pattern of UP Board. For UP Board Class 10th examination, maximum 100 marks are prescribed for each subject. And for class 12th board exam also, maximum 100 marks have been fixed from one subject. UPMSP Up Board 12th Exam Pattern 2025: Council of Secondary Education Uttar Pradesh Prayagraj has released the subject wise exam pattern of all the subjects of class 12th through syllabus in PDF format on its official website upmsp.edu.in. Even in class 12th, maximum 100 marks are fixed from each subject for the board examination. Out of which the written examination of some subjects is of 100 marks, and the written examination of some subjects is of 70 marks.
The examinations of 70 marks are for subjects in which 30 marks have been prescribed for practical examination like Chemistry, Biology, Physics, etc. Students will have to continuously prepare for the exam by understanding the exam pattern of each subject. UPMSP Up Board Exam Passing Marks 2025: To pass the UP Board class 10th and 12th examination, students have to score more marks in each subject than the minimum qualifying marks set by the board. For example, the class 10th board exam is of 70 marks, in which to pass, students have to score a minimum of 23 marks in each subject. To pass the written examination of 100 marks in class 12th, students must score minimum 33 marks in the written examination of 70 marks.
